About UX Icons
UX Icons is a directory of the icon libraries designers and developers reach for most — Lucide, Material Symbols, Font Awesome, Heroicons, Phosphor, Tabler, and more — alongside a reference of universal icons: the concepts almost every interface needs, such as home, search, settings, and close.
The same icon often has a different name in every library. UX Icons maps each universal icon to its name in every library, so you can find the right identifier for the library your project already uses, or pick a library by seeing how it draws the icons you need.
UX Icons is a static site built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks, no build step. It is a sister site of UX Components, which seeded the initial library directory, and was vibe coded using Claude Code.

UX Icons is created by Patrick Neeman, a Senior Principal UX Designer based in Seattle and the creator of Usability Counts.
